Research is the foundation of my practice. While my approach may vary, an intuitive pursuit carries me from start to finish, no matter how big or small the project. Images are typically the easiest place to start and the easiest to get lost in. The key to image sourcing is to follow your gut, recognize patterns, and know when it’s time to step away and hit the books. I was fortunate over the last two years to have an image resource library on a floor above the literature library at RISD. This is an ever-evolving personal “library” of my research over the past few years.
